Finding the right Help

At Mindfull Aus, we believe seeking professional support is a strength, not a sign that something is wrong. Our work is focused on helping people recognise when life feels heavy, overwhelming, or stuck, and to feel confident and supported to reach out for the right help early. Through proactive wellbeing education, emotional literacy, and open conversations, we normalise therapy, counselling, and mental health support as practical tools for growth, regulation and recovery, not just crisis responses. By building awareness, reducing stigma, and strengthening protective factors, we help individuals, families and communities move toward professional support with clarity, confidence and hope, knowing they don’t have to carry things alone.

Seeking Professional Help

Getting a mental health plan from your GP.

We all experience challenging emotional challenges at different times. We can’t always deal with these on our own. If you feel you need help and it’s not an emergency, it’s best to see your doctor for a potential mental health treatment plan.

When you see your doctor, they’ll assess what help you need. This could include:

  • Making a mental health assessment

  • Creating a mental health treatment plan

  • Referring you to a psychiatrist or other mental health professional in the area.

  • We strongly advise against taking a prescription and medication from a GP upon initial consultation without exploring alternative avenues first from trusted professionals in the field of psychiatry.

Your doctor might ask you some personal questions to understand your situation. Sometimes it can be hard to talk to others about your mental health.

To start with, your doctor will refer you for up to 6-10 sessions at a subsidised rate If you need more, they can refer you for further sessions.

Alternative Therapies

An additional approach -we've seen powerful results, and we can’t speak more highly of these healing & therapy modality methods.

Root Cause Therapy
This therapy helps access and release subconscious blocks formed through past experiences, often in early life. It provides a safe and structured space to explore and heal emotional pain and trauma at the root level – leading to real, lasting transformation.

Timeline Therapy
This process guides individuals through key life events stored in their personal timeline, helping them reprocess and reframe past experiences. It's especially effective for managing anxiety, anger, low self-worth, and recurring emotional patterns.

Together, these approaches support people in breaking free from the weight of the past, moving forward with clarity, strength, and confidence.
