A Little About Us
Jessie Mays was founded in 2013 by Managing Director and Owner, Jess. What started as a one-person domestic cleaning business, born from Jess’s personal experience of needing to support her young family while escaping domestic violence, has grown into a thriving organization that supports people through the NDIS, HCP, and CHSP programs. When Jess began working with NDIS participants, she saw the overwhelming demand for ethical, genuine care, and discovered her true passion for supporting vulnerable people within the community.
As the organization grew, Jessie Mays expanded to provide in-home care and support, gradually covering a larger service area. Today, we proudly support hundreds of individuals across a vast area from Pakenham to Sale, Victoria, and the surrounding towns.

We are currently accepting new referrals and are ready to begin providing support to participants immediately. We wanted to take this opportunity to share more about the services we offer and give you an insight into the team that drives our mission. We’re incredibly proud of our staff, and we’d love to share some of the skills and life experiences that make our team unique. We hope this information helps you better understand our organization, and we trust it will be valuable when considering future referrals.
At Jessie Mays, we provide individual support to NDIS, HCP, and CHSP participants, as well as offering our services on a private pay basis. One of our key goals for 2024 is to build strong connections with like-minded organizations to enhance our care delivery and provide outstanding support services to participants. Given the current changes and challenges within the sector, along with concerning trends around unethical practices, we’re making a conscious effort to align with organizations that share our values and commitment to positive change, ethical support delivery, and advocacy for people with disabilities.
Our Team
Our team of approximately 50 staff members is dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality care. We have a diverse range of qualifications and expertise, including mental health qualifications, individual support, community services, disability support, trauma-informed care, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Mental Health First Aid, Personal Care Assistance, and professional cleaning services. We also have a wealth of lived experience that allows us to connect with and support our clients with warmth, empathy, and understanding.
